I said that you will conquer social anxiety within two months with this method. Well, let me say that you will still feel anxiety. But when you have mastered this principle you have a new RELATIONSHIP with your anxiety.
You’re now working WITH the anxiety instead of against it. That’s a very important breakthrough. My goal is for this to happen with all my Strip-Down students.
When you’ve realized the truth that resisting the anxiety won’t help, you can be damn sure you’re on the way out of the social anxiety hell.
Fear LOVES that you’re resisting and fighting with it. Well, it doesn’t love because then it’s suddenly not fear. What we can say is that fear FEEDS of a good fight. You see… resistance makes it fatter. When you resist, complain and self-sabotaging, you’re feeding it french fries. It’s addicting, just like french fries. But it creates a thicker and thicker hell.
So you’re job is to just see the pointlessness of making MORE problems about the anxiety, and then learn to embrace it.
